He's a keeper!!

That's right, my friends: HE. It looks like we're having ourselves a little boy. And an adorable one, at that:

Isn't he precious? First of all, can I just say that 4D ultrasounds are the coolest! Wow. Not only can you actually tell it's a baby you're looking at, but you can see distinct physical features.

For example, this little fellow. He has Blake's pouty lips, and his cute round face. And, best of all, he has Blake's cleft chin. I'm not sure yet how much Lindsay this baby has, but I'm sure we'll find that out in July.

I'm excited. There's just something about an ultrasound that makes it seem more real. And a little boy! I don't know about you, but I think dump trucks and building blocks are much cooler to play with than pretty-pretty-princess.

So there you go, all my eager-to-know friends. We have ourselves a boy. (And the technician and doctor who did the scan both agreed that this baby is 100% boy, no doubt about it.) An adorable, perfectly healthy, little boy.

And for those of you wondering what this kid is making me look like, we snapped a photo.

24 Weeks: Look at me from the side...do I look different to you?

Sheesh, woman, you're still pretty skinny! You tall people must actually have a place to keep a baby. I was already rounder than round by 24 weeks, I think.
Anyway, the point. A boy!!!!!! Wahoo! Just means we actually have to meet up someday. Sean gripes cause all my mom friends have girl babies and he thinks Patrick needs more boy baby buddies! Also, those 4D pics are seriously neat. Congratulations! You're really and truly having a baby!

Congrats! It is amazing we can get the info we can. Those pictures are so much more detailed than old utra sounds. Do you have names in mind?

Congrats!! That is awesome. Isn't technology amazing!!

Having 8 nephews, I'd have to say that boys are a lot of fun. You will love it.

Wow! I guess this is the first photo of you I've ever seen - you look just like me! For some reason I thought you were a brunette.

In other news, BOYS RULE! I am getting the boy vibe as well with mine but I was wrong about it last time and will probably be wrong again. I make my little girl play with blocks and trucks anyway though and she hasn't caught on yet.

He's really cute! I love that you can tell the cleft chin already. Congrats on a real, live human growing inside your tiny little belly :)

In that I like playing with blocks and cars and legos better than dolls, I'll probably be getting those for my baby girl. I suppose most people won't care. I hope they don't.

Heh, I used to use that Aladdin quote all the time :)

Yahoo!!! As much as I love my niece Lindsay (Becca's Lindsay, of course), I adore my boy!!! So very glad I had a boy first. What fun!

Congrats!! I had no idea that they even did 4D ultrasounds - it's super cool that you can see so much detail! And you look great. (I'm only 5'4" and very short waisted and will have baby sticking straight out - no room to curl up in the fetal position in me!) How exciting! Do you already have any names in mind?

For those of you wondering about names: We've thought about it and talked about it and right now the front runner is Garrett...Garrett Blake. But we still have a few more months -- plenty of time to change our minds, if we feel so inclined. :)

Congrats on the boy! Having one of each I don't think one is neccessarily better than the other, but they're both a lot of fun.

And go ahead and get whatever toys you want for either gender. After 3 1/2 years I've managed to resist the princesses. Unfortunately we haven't been able to resist Dora, but at least she's not so ditzy.
